Health Considerations / Contraindications

Whilst I will make every effort to deliver my massages, there may be occasions when it is not possible for me to do so.

Here are some of the reasons why:

• Recent Fractures 
• Under the influence of drugs or alcohol 
• Undiagnosed pain 
• Varicose veins 
• Cancer
• Deep vein thrombosis 
• High blood pressure
• Epilepsy 
• Fever
• Nausea or dizziness
• Diarrhoea or vomiting 
• Contagious or infectious diseases

 

If you are unsure whether a treatment would be suitable for you, I would be delighted to discuss this further with you over a phone call and work together towards finding a way to schedule your treatment.

Health Check Questionnaires

All clients are required to fill out a medical form prior to treatments. For some medical conditions treatments may have to be adapted or a suitable alternative arranged.

I reserve the right to refuse treatments that are contraindicated by any medical conditions.

Health questionnaires will be completed on first appointment so please allow an extra 15 min for this to be completed. If you are taking any medication it would be helpful if you could please write those down so  I can add them to your form.
